This course begins by introducing the fundamentals of leadership and examining the historical context of the idea. The discussion of various leadership theories continues after that, covering topics like situational leadership, contingency theories, transactional leadership, transformational leadership, and more. The discussion then shifts to discussing how to develop teams, including team members, by examining the role that leaders play in this. The final two modules discuss the role that communication plays in effective leadership, and the course concludes with a module on working together to move toward a common goal.
