Description

What’s covered

Regardless of how they are acquired, learning disabilities last a lifetime. Due to their neurological nature, learning disabilities have an impact on a person’s comprehension, memory, learning, and communication skills.

There are many different kinds of learning difficulties, and they can present themselves in a variety of ways and with a variety of traits. The first part of this course will give you an overview of some of the most typical types, causes and effects of learning disabilities. It will touch on the benefits of a person-centred approach to care, look at how management must function, and examine each person’s needs. In addition, this course will cover important strategies on how we can all to help eradicate the stigma associated with learning disabilities.
