This course covers the importance of handling information securely in a care setting. The course will cover the crucial role that confidentiality plays in creating relationships of trust with the people under your care, and define important terms like “need to know” and “consent.” It also discusses the laws that are in place regarding the handling and storing of information and the responsibilities that each person has in accordance with these laws.
