The course starts by examining three main categories of reversing accidents: injuries to pedestrians, damage to objects in the workplace, and damage to street furniture along. You’ll discover how management can prevent reversing accidents, especially through the use of risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and the provision of suitable Personal Protection Equipment.
Before examining the role and responsibilities of banksmen on site, including safety rules, controls, and guidelines, you’ll receive an overview of the major laws that apply to their activities. Additionally, the rules that apply to drivers will be discussed, and we’ll look at how Banksmen and drivers can coexist safely. We’ll finish by discussing vehicle hazard safety checks and the approved hand and voice signals that bankers can employ while operating a vehicle.
