The management of health, safety, and welfare in construction is covered by the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations. Whatever your role in the construction industry, these Regulations are there to improve your health and safety. They are designed to make sure that projects are planned, carried out, and managed safely from the beginning.
In addition to describing the various roles needed for a construction project and the important documentation needed, this awareness course covers the fundamental elements of the CDM Regulations. The course begins with a description of CDM and moves on to discuss some of the factors that must be taken into consideration when a project is being planned. The course concludes by describing several projects that serve as examples of how the CDM Regulations are applied in the real world.
