Description
What’s covered
Anyone who regularly uses display screen equipment for a sizable portion of their everyday work is referred to as a ‘user. In practice, if you use display screen equipment continuously for more than one hour a day, then you are considered a ‘user’. This course is aimed at users of display screen equipment (DSE) and those in charge of evaluating display screen equipment.
A computer monitor is typically the first thing that comes to mind when we think of display screen equipment. However, display screen equipment can also refer to devices with cathode ray tubes (CRTs) such as laptops, tablet PCs, televisions, smartphones, CNC control pads, and portable diagnostic screens.
Special guidelines for display screen equipment safety are included in the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations which sets out the obligations that employers and employee users have. This course fulfils your statutory training obligations and covers topics such as the correct way to set up and use your display screen equipment safely.
