All early years providers, including childminders, are required to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, also known as the EYFS.

This course aims to give educators an introduction to the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and serves as a refresher for those who want to keep up with the latest developments. You will learn about some of the important laws and regulations pertaining to early childhood providers, the registration process with Ofsted, and the various policies and procedures that must be in place. The course also covers the requirements for learning and development, how to monitor and evaluate the development of the children in your care, and the safeguarding and welfare standards outlined in the EYFS Framework.
